Tourist Special Train Sets Off from China's Guizhou to Laos' Vientiane

     At 14:40 on May 8, the Y477 "Colorful Guizhou" Guizhou-Vientiane tourist special train, carrying over 200 tourists, departed from Guiyang Railway Station, commencing an 8-day journey to Laos.

  According to the responsible person from Guiyang Railway Station of CR-Chengdu, the tourist special train adopts a diversified travel mode of "special train + high speed train + bus". Starting from Guiyang, Guizhou, tourists will take the "Panda Train" themed after pandas to Xishuangbanna, Yunnan. Then, they will transfer to a high speed train to Vientiane, Vang Vieng, Luang Prabang, and other places in Laos. At various tourist attractions, they will be shuttled by bus to experience places like Kuang Si Waterfall, Patuxay Monument, Wat Xiengthong, and Pha That Luang, immersing themselves in exotic customs, and admiring unique scenery.

  Initially, the special train plans to operate once a month regularly, and the frequency will be adjusted according to passenger flow. To ensure the smooth operation of the special train, the station has opened dedicated channels, provided guided waiting areas, and organized volunteers to assist and guide passengers. The train is equipped with experienced tour guides and onboard doctors, as well as various specialty cuisines.
